Cowl NUMber 2

Keep it simple!' is something we often hear and then we take absolutely no notice! But occasionally when I'm designing a more complex pattern, one simple stitch element jumps out and I think, “that would look amazing on its own!”

That is exactly how the stitch pattern for this gorgeous aran weight infinity cowl came into being! But there is more of a story behind how this cowl pattern came to be and you can read that here.

But this pattern has it all: the stitch pattern creates a beautiful texture that's simple and quick to knit. Knitted flat, it’s an incredibly easy knit so it’s definitely a beginner friendly project. And for more experienced knitters it’s simply a relaxing, satisfying knitting pattern to have on your needles.

Not only can anyone knit this cowl, but it looks great on anyone too. And if you or anyone you know enjoys chilly, blustery winter walks then this pattern would be perfect to knit for yourself or as a gift. It won’t unwrap like a scarf can, and being knitted in aran weight yarn you can be assured of a cosy, cowl hug on your outdoor adventures.

Happy Knitting!
