Hip To be squared: Part deux

Hip To Be Squared: Part Deux is an elegant knitted scarf that has simplicity at the heart of its design. This knitting pattern is easy to knit, beautifully textured and the finished scarf looks amazing on anyone.

This pattern is based on sections of stocking stitch blocks which are divided vertically and horizontally by moss stitch borders for extra structure and texture.

This is a great beginners knitting project. It’s fun and satisfying to knit, but it’s an incredibly relaxing pattern for more experienced knitters looking for a knit that can be put down and picked again easily without constantly referring to the instructions. And that makes it ideal for popping into your bag for trips to the coffee shop or weekends away.

Using DK yarn, the completed scarf is a great length for styling as you wish. It’s cosy without being bulky, but you can also fold the scarf vertically to double up the fabric for when you want to keep extra toasty on those early spring or late autumn walks.

But whether you knit this pattern for yourself or as a gift knit for someone else, it’s an excellent scarf for anyone to have their wardrobe.

Happy knitting!
